SOME PERSONNEL ENDED UP WORKING IN PARLIAMENT UNAPPROVED.

The chairperson of the local accounts committee wants sergent at arms to investigate on how some of the workers ended up working in different aspects at parliament.

The chairperson of the local accounts committee Regan Okumu wants sergent at arms to investigate on how some of the workers ended up working in different aspects at parliament.

This comes as this morning a one Moses Lubwama was found to have been operating as an employee of parliament yet he has never been employed by the institution and he is not known.

Okumu says that parliament should assist them to identify the different titles of the employees so that they cannot work in an informal way.

The public relations officer of parliament Chris Obore says that these workers most of them come as personal assistants to members of parliament but when their terms end many stay behind as workers of parliament.

The deputy sergent at arms Sheila Atim noted that they are going to address the issue of informal workers.
