ROTARIANS URGED TO BE COMPASSIONATE TO THE LESS PRIVILEDGED.

Rotarians and Ugandans urged to be compassionate to the less privileged.

The first District Governor of Rotary Uganda and Tanzania also Chief Executive Officer of Cipla Quality Chemical Industries Limited, Emmanuel Katongole urges Rotarians and Ugandans to emulate the fallen president-elect of Rotary International Samuel Frobisher Owori by being compassionate to the less privileged.

Katongole describes Owori as an extraordinary person who demonstrated service to Rotary and his country, through his leadership spanning over 29 years that saw the number of Rotary clubs in Uganda swelling from 9 to 89.

Katongole adds that Owori had an incredible passion to make a difference through a number of projects that he initiated.

This during his candlelight fellowship for the late Sam Owori organized by the Rotary Club of Kololo at Hotel Africana.
